Dialnook

Privacy notice

Development draft · Updated October 28, 2026

This notice describes the current Dialnook implementation. The service is in development. The operating legal entity, privacy contact and final retention schedule must be supplied before public launch.

Information used by the service

Dialnook stores account names, email addresses, verification state, password hashes when email login is used, and session records. Apple sign-in uses the identity information Apple supplies to authenticate your account. Apple refresh tokens are encrypted on the server to support authorization revocation before account deletion; they are never returned to clients.

Workspaces contain memberships, permissions, invitations, assigned phone numbers, contacts, notes, call metadata, messages and communication preferences. Team information may be visible to authorized members of the same workspace. Personal contacts are scoped separately. Device contacts require your permission before import.

Connected accounts and providers

Twilio connection credentials are encrypted on the server and are not returned to the mobile client. Twilio processes calls, messages, phone numbers and associated routing or delivery information. Connecting Twilio does not make Dialnook a Twilio service.

Cloudflare hosts the application and APIs. Relational data uses PostgreSQL on Railway, accessed through the server. Where files are supported, they use Cloudflare R2 storage. Apple, RevenueCat and Stripe process the purchase or subscription information required for their respective billing paths. Full payment-card information is handled by the payment provider rather than stored by Dialnook.

Use, access and retention

Information is used to authenticate users, enforce workspace access, deliver requested communications, maintain history and reconcile subscription entitlements. Role and number assignments control access to business information.

Account deletion and data export are available through the account service. Active subscriptions and team ownership may need to be resolved before deletion. Deleting a Dialnook account does not automatically cancel provider charges or remove data retained by Twilio, Apple, Stripe or RevenueCat under their own policies. A final data-retention schedule has not yet been published.

Your choices

You can change permissions in your device settings, manage account preferences, sign out, revoke other sessions and request account deletion. For support during development, return to the person who provided your test build. A public privacy contact has not yet been configured.
